Are you experiencing dead slow at system startup on your Windows PC? then its time to make it faster by delaying unimportant applications.

Generally during startup lot of applications start at the same time make Windows clumsy(difficult to handle) but we can overcome it by using Startup Delayer, a small free utility that allows you to set delay time for the applications running at Windows startup.

Space-Evenly-in-Actions-menu-Startup-Delayer Startup Delayer has some cool features which makes it the right choice for any user. One of such features is Space Evenly, it allows you to set maximum time for all the applications to load, so that it can set time interval for each application based on the maximum time you enter. Lets see how it works, maximum time is divided by total number of applications to get the time interval for each application to start. For example, if i have 10 application/services starting at startup, then if i add some thing like 200 seconds, then it sets delay time to all apps in this way, 200/10=20 seconds. 20 Seconds is set as interval between each program/service running at startup. If you don’t like this(Space Evenly) feature, you can always set your own desired time for each application/service.

Another cool feature is it allows you to filter Windows user accounts. Lets say if you are working on a system that has two or more user accounts then you can set the delay time for other user accounts as well.

Also see boost Windows Vista performance using USB storage device.

Try this utility I’m sure you will feel the difference. I forgot to tell you this utility is recommended by PCWorld.

Update: For better performance try to delay most of the startup services/apps.
